Maria Dolores Aceña Galiot
I was not born in Almodóvar del Río, although I came to live in the very small town. I owe my artistic training, almost entirely, to the School of Applied Arts of Córdoba. Where I studied in different specialties: decoration, artistic leather, woodcarving, goldsmithing and metals.
My taste for painting comes from my knowledge of drawing, and I express myself in watercolor, oil or speed painting. My subject always natural.
I have been selected and awarded both in the Gaudí Watercolor contest, and in Medina Azahara speed painting.
In Photography I started at the University of Córdoba, where in several courses I attended Asus Photography classes in free configuration. From that stage, I collected up to a dozen provincial, regional and Spanish awards in general.
Currently, I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society of Madrid, where for several years I have been selected with Photo Book, edited among the best of the year.
