Ethnological Museum of Almodóvar del Río
Visiting this exhibition is immersing ourselves in the past through its more than 5,000 pieces that make it unique in Andalusia . Starting from a small family legacy, its founder Ángel Estévez Pérez has been forming the collection uninterruptedly since 1970, with pieces from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Through them we access already extinct ways of life where agriculture and livestock played a fundamental role for the economy and subsistence, where the trades were exercised in an artisanal way with the help of a scarce and rudimentary technology.
We can also take a tour of the mechanization and technological advances that arose in the wake of the industrial revolution, with machines that will surprisingly attract our attention, without ignoring the invention that brought all these new ideas, technologies and advances: the railroad. Enjoy your trip through time .
